How Much Money Have I Spent on League of Legends?

Not many people know this, but Riot Games has a website on their support forums that allows you to check exactly how much money you have spent on your League of Legends account based on Riot Points.

For most of us, buying skins and perhaps Teemo skins has been our vice. The link above allows you to take a look at the total damage done to your wallet.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Check How Much You’ve Spent on League

When you click on the link above:

  1. There should be a big red “Login” button. Click on it.
  2. Next, it will open up an image with a cash amount on it.
  3. After logging in, press the “Show me the money” button.
  4. Lastly, it will reveal how much money you have spent so far in League of Legends.

How Much Other People Have Spent on League

So now that you’ve taken a look at how much you spent for League of Legends, there are a few Reddit posts out there of surveys showing how much people have spent on LoL.

To give you a sense of this, it seems like most people have spent approximately $100 on skins and such. Despite possible shiftiness in this survey’s reliability, there are allegedly a few individuals spending more than a million dollars on the game. Yikes.

Next Steps…

However, for those of you who have quit League but are still holding on to your account, it’s not too late for you to make some money. For AccountKings, the starting price for a level 30 unranked LoL account starts at $10. It seems for most cases, AccountKings is used mostly for buying smurfs.

Hence, AccountWarehouse might be a much better website to sell your account as you get much more value for your account, especially if you have rare skins. I see accounts vary quite differently in prices and it seems like the average price you can sell an account (with rare skins) is probably around $100 – $500.

This is not a massive amount of money, but it may still be worth selling especially if you have long quit this game.
